Three pitchers in Northwest Indiana are in a class of their own.
They are Andrean’s Michael Doolin, Chesterton’s Austin Peterson and Boone Grove’s Ty Bothwell.
Boone Grove coach Patrick Antone, who was an assistant at Andrean last year, is taking his guy.
“I love all three,” Antone said. “If I had to go with one, I’d take Ty. He’s just dominant. He’s casting fastballs by guys. He has tons of movement on his curveball, his change-up drops off the table, and he can locate his off-speed pitches for strikes.”
