5/29: HS Spring Athletic Awards / Senior Athlete Recognition

The Boone Grove Athletic Department will host the High School Spring Athletics Awards Program on Wednesday, May 29th at BGHS.  Athletes participating in baseball, boys’ golf, softball, tennis, and track & field will be honored. IHSAA Softball Sectional

Softball State Tournament pairings were drawn for the 35th IHSAA Softball State Tournament. Sectional action runs May 20‐25 with the 64 survivors moving into a one‐game regional round on Tuesday, May 28, and the four‐team semi‐states on Saturday, June 1. The four state championship games, scheduled for Saturday, June 8, will be played at Purdue

Kimes Jumps to new Record

Congratulations to junior Piper Kimes! Piper set a new Boone Grove High School pole vault record with 9′ 6″ first place performance at yesterday’s round robin meet!  Other 1st place finishers for the team were: Amelia Stzechowski, Abby Donovan, Kyra Flesvig, McKenna Plamer – 4 X 800 m. Ferguson Jumps to Set Record
